About the series
In 2017, IDW launched Donald and Mickey, a four-issue comic series that paired Disney’s two most iconic ducks and a certain mouse in classic, globe-trotting adventures. Written by a team including Thad Komorowski, Jan Kruse, and Jonathan Gray, the series featured artwork from beloved Disney comic veterans Daniel Branca, Marco Rota, and William Van Horn. It brought the timeless, slapstick humor and vibrant art of the classic Disney comic tradition to a modern audience, offering a concise but charming bridge between the characters’ long European comic history and a new generation of readers.
