Doorzon Pokkeboekies

From 1999 to 2001, Dutch cartoonist Gerrit de Jager brought his signature absurdist humor to Doorzon Pokkeboekies, a four-issue comic series published by Big Balloon. Each installment offered a standalone collection of short, gag-driven strips, showcasing De Jager’s knack for offbeat characters and surreal situations. A lively, compact showcase of one of the Netherlands’ most distinctive comic voices.
