Matt Wagner and Kelley Jones—two of the most distinctive voices in modern horror comics—team up for a fresh, brooding take on the vampire mythos with Dracula, a series launched in 2024 by Orlok Press. Over its initial two issues, the creative pair strip away camp and cliché to return the Count to his Gothic, monstrous roots, with Jones's famously twisted, shadow-drenched art perfectly complementing Wagner's atmospheric scripting. While still in its early days, this collaboration already promises a definitive, moody vision of the classic character for a new generation of readers.
