About the series
From 1988 to 1990, Malibu Comics published Dragonforce, a nine-issue series that blended sword-and-sorcery fantasy with superhero action. The title is most closely associated with artist and co-writer Dale Keown, who alongside Alexander Serra (credited as Alex Szewczuk) and Jack Briglio, crafted a visually striking world of warriors and mystical conflict. Though short-lived, the series stands as an early showcase of Keown's dynamic, muscular style before his later fame on The Incredible Hulk.
