Set in the American West of the 1880s, this short-lived German series from Norbert Hethke Verlag follows a lone gunslinger with a mysterious past. Written and drawn entirely by Yves Swolfs, Durango ran for just four issues in 1989–1990, but its stark, atmospheric art and gritty, morally complex storytelling made it a cult favorite among European Western enthusiasts.
