In the late 1990s, Croatian publisher Slobodna Dalmacija brought the iconic Italian horror series to a new audience with Dylan Dog Extra. Running for 12 issues from 1999 to 2000, this anthology collection reprinted classic adventures of the Nightmare Investigator, focusing on the surreal, gothic horror stories that made the character a European phenomenon. Though short-lived, the series served as a key entry point for readers in the region, showcasing the moody artwork and existential dread that defined Dylan Dog's best cases.
