About the series
A two-issue miniseries from IDW in 2013–2014, Edison Rex reimagines the supervillain origin story from the villain's perspective. Written by Chris Roberson with art by Dennis Culver, the series follows the titular genius criminal mastermind after his greatest enemy, the superhero Valor, apparently sacrifices himself to save the world. Rather than seize power, Rex must now navigate a world without his arch-nemesis, leading to a thoughtful and subversive take on the classic good-versus-evil dynamic.
