Egoland

A satirical superhero series from Danish publisher Bogfabrikken, Egoland ran for twelve issues between 1997 and 2000, skewering the genre’s conventions with deadpan absurdity. The series is most associated with its creators, who used the premise of a world where everyone has a superpower—except the protagonist—to explore themes of mediocrity and identity. Its sharp, minimalist art and deadpan humor made it a cult favorite in European alternative comics.
