Egri csillagok

Set during the 16th-century Ottoman-Habsburg wars, Egri csillagok is a Hungarian graphic novel adaptation of Géza Gárdonyi’s classic historical novel, published by FourColour Hungary in 2013. This single-issue comic brings the epic siege of Eger to life, distilling the tale of love, loyalty, and national defiance into a vivid visual narrative. While only one issue has been released, it stands as a notable attempt to translate a cornerstone of Hungarian literature into the comics medium for a modern audience.
