In the five-issue series Ei8ht, writer and artist Rafael Albuquerque, joined by co-writer Mike Johnson, crafts a time-bending sci-fi mystery for Dark Horse. The story follows a man who steps through a portal into "The Meld," a strange, fractured landscape where past, present, and future exist simultaneously. As he searches for a missing woman, he must navigate a world of warring factions and shifting realities, where his own past may hold the key to survival. With Albuquerque's visceral, kinetic art, the series explores identity and memory within a disorienting, high-concept time-travel puzzle.
