El pequeño Spirou

In the late 1990s, Spanish publisher Ediciones B brought the mischievous childhood adventures of Spirou to a new audience with El pequeño Spirou, a seven-issue series that reimagined the beloved character's early years. While the original Spirou et Fantasio comics were created by Rob-Vel, Franquin, and others in Belgium, this spin-off focused on a younger, pre-teen Spirou, offering lighthearted, gag-driven stories that stood apart from the mainline adventures. Though the series ran only from 1995 to 2000, it remains a charming footnote for fans of the classic European comic, showcasing a different side of the iconic bellhop.
