Elefantgutten

In the mid-1970s, the Danish publisher Nordisk Forlag released the short-lived Elefantgutten, a five-issue comic series distinguished by the lush, painted artwork of the mysterious artist known only as Amador. The series follows the adventures of its titular character, blending fantastical elements with the distinctive visual style of its era. Though brief, Elefantgutten remains a curious and visually striking footnote in Scandinavian comics history, notable for its ambitious use of full-color painting in a period when most comics relied on line art.
