Emblem

A short-lived but visually striking series from Antarctic Press, Emblem (1994–1995) spanned eight issues as a showcase for the manga-influenced art of Kei Taniguchi, who also co-wrote alongside Rimiko Sawada and Zhao Yun. The series stands out as a mid-90s artifact of the American manga boom, offering a distinctive blend of Eastern storytelling and Western indie-publishing sensibilities.
