Empire Lanes

In the mid-1980s, Northern Lights published the four-issue miniseries Empire Lanes, a quirky character drama from writer and co-artist Peter Gross alongside artist Eileen Kajiwara. Set in and around a bowling alley, the series explores the intersecting lives of its oddball patrons and staff, blending slice-of-life storytelling with a touch of the surreal.
