About the series
In the late 1990s, writer/artist Jason Alexander (no relation to the actor) crafted Empty Zone for Sirius Entertainment, a dark, cyberpunk-infused horror series that ran for eight issues. The story follows a woman whose ability to communicate with the dead leads her through a gritty, supernatural underworld. With Alexander's distinctive, moody art and a blend of visceral horror and noir atmosphere, the series stands as a cult-classic artifact of the independent comics boom, remembered for its unflinching vision and singular creative voice.
