Eppo Stripblad

In 2009, Dutch publisher Don Lawrence Collection revived the legendary Eppo magazine name for a new weekly comic strip anthology, running 249 issues until 2018. Anchored by regular contributors like Mars Gremmen, Eric Hercules, and Rob van Bavel as writers, with artists such as Gremmen, Gerben Valkema, and Romano Molenaar, the series blended humor and adventure through recurring characters including Eppo, Bert, Ouwe, Elsje, Esther Verkest, and Flippie Flink. It served as a modern continuation of the beloved Dutch comic tradition, offering a mix of serialized strips and standalone gags for a new generation of readers.
