Erotissima

A short-lived but audacious French adult comic series from Éditions Comédit, Erotissima ran for 17 issues between 1976 and 1977, pushing the boundaries of explicit erotic storytelling in the medium. The series is most associated with artist and writer Georges Lévis, whose lush, detailed artwork defined its provocative, fantasy-tinged narratives. While not a mainstream success, it remains a notable artifact of the European underground's brief, uninhibited explosion of adult-oriented comics in the 1970s.
