Extermination

In 2013, Boom! Studios launched Extermination, a two-issue mini-series that brought a fresh, sci-fi-inflected take on the teen superhero team. Written by Simon Spurrier and illustrated by Jeffrey Edwards, the story follows a group of young heroes who must confront the terrifying consequences of their own future actions. Though brief, the series stands out for its tight, character-driven narrative and its exploration of destiny and responsibility within a superhero framework.
