In the wake of the Krakoan era, Factor X (2020–2021) from Panini España zeroed in on the mutant resurrection protocols, following the team tasked with managing the delicate process of bringing fallen mutants back to life. Over its eight-issue run, the series explored the bureaucratic and ethical complexities of this new system, spotlighting characters like Prodigy and the mutant database known as the Five. Written by Leah Williams with art by David Baldeón, this self-contained story deepened the lore of the Krakoan age while examining what it means to return from death in a world built on second chances.
