Fantastic Fears

In 2023, PS Artbooks revived the anthology format with Fantastic Fears, a three-issue series showcasing vintage horror and suspense tales from the Iger Shop, the legendary studio behind some of comics' most atmospheric pre-Code work. Each issue collects short, eerie stories originally published in the 1950s, featuring the distinctive, shadowy art of the Iger Shop's anonymous but prolific craftsmen. This series matters as a curated glimpse into the golden age of horror comics, preserving the raw, unsettling charm that defined the genre before the Comics Code Authority.
