Fantastiske Fire

Stan Lee and Jack Kirby’s legendary run on Fantastiske Fire brought the world’s first superhero family to Danish readers, starting in 1968 through a collaboration of Serieforlaget, Se-Bladene, and Stabenfeldt. Spanning just eight issues, this series introduced the original Marvel team—Mr. Fantastic, the Invisible Girl, the Human Torch, and the Thing—in reprints of the creators’ classic 1960s stories. Though short-lived, it stands as a key early entry point for Scandinavian fans to the cosmic and family-driven adventures that defined the Fantastic Four.
