Fantomet

In the early 1970s, Nordisk Forlag brought the classic newspaper hero Fantomet to a new generation of Norwegian readers with a dedicated comic series that ran for 102 issues. While the strip was created by Lee Falk and famously illustrated by Sy Barry, this series also featured local talents like Gerd Hoff, Ragnar Lae, Knut Holm, and Jaime Vallvé, who helped shape the character's adventures for a Scandinavian audience. It stands as a key chapter in the Phantom's European publishing history, bridging the original continuity with a distinct regional flavor.
