About the series
Arédit-Artima’s Faucon Noir (1977–1982) was a 25-issue French comic series that reprinted American superhero adventures, primarily featuring the Justice Society of America and its legacy heroes. The run drew heavily on stories written by Gerry Conway, Bob Rozakis, and Martin Pasko, with artwork by Dick Dillin, Joe Staton, and Al Milgrom. As a key import title, it introduced French readers to the Earth-Two DC universe during a period when those characters were being revived in the U.S.
