Fenix

In the late 1980s, Argentine publisher Ediciones Récord launched Fenix, a 25-issue comic series that served as a showcase for a new generation of local talent. Known for its science fiction and fantasy anthology format, the series was a proving ground for artists and writers who would go on to define the Argentine comic scene of the 1990s. Fenix remains a touchstone for its role in bridging the gap between the classic and modern eras of Argentine comics.
