Fight Against the Guilty

During its brief two-issue run in 1954–1955, Story Comics' Fight Against the Guilty delivered hardboiled crime and suspense stories, a staple of the pre-Code era. The series is most closely associated with the art of Jon D'Agostino and Ross Andru, who lent gritty visuals to tales of law and punishment. Though it lasted only a moment, it stands as a snapshot of the raw, unregulated crime comics that soon vanished under the Comics Code Authority.
