In 2018, French publisher Komikku Éditions launched a four-issue comic series that expanded the universe of Joss Whedon's beloved space western Firefly. While the original show's creative team was not involved, this miniseries offered a new, standalone story set in the 'Verse, exploring fresh corners of the franchise's lore. It stands as a distinct, European-published take on the property, notable for bringing the crew of Serenity back to comics during a period of renewed interest in the franchise.
