In 2016 and 2017, Parachute Pictures released a two-issue comic series based on the long-running Dutch film and television franchise Flodder, written by franchise creator Dick Maas alongside Wijo Koek. The series translates the chaotic, lowbrow humor of the Flodder family—a hilariously dysfunctional clan of social misfits—into the comic medium, capturing the same anarchic spirit that made the property a Dutch cultural staple. Though brief, this short run offers fans a fresh, visually driven take on the beloved characters, preserving their signature antics for a new format.
