A moody horror-anthology series from DC that ran for 11 issues between 1972 and 1974, Forbidden Tales of Dark Mansion drew on the gothic and supernatural traditions of the publisher's earlier mystery titles. Most frequently written by E. Nelson Bridwell, Jack Oleck, and Michael Fleisher, and illustrated by the evocative Michael Kaluta and Mike Royer, each issue offered a self-contained story of eerie suspense and macabre twists.
