Fotball

A short-lived but visually eclectic Norwegian comic series from Illustrerte Klassikere / Williams Forlag, Fotball (1973–1974) ran for 14 issues and blended painted covers, photocomics, and contributions from American underground legend Robert Crumb. Though its core subject was football (soccer), the series' mix of local and international talent made it a curious, era-specific artifact of early-1970s European comics publishing.
