Frankenstein Underground

From 2015, Dark Horse's Frankenstein Underground is a five-issue miniseries by writer Mike Mignola and artist Ben Stenbeck. It plunges Mary Shelley's monster into the depths of the Hellboy universe, following his solitary journey through subterranean realms and encounters with ancient, hidden horrors. The series deepens the tragic, monstrous legacy of its protagonist, expanding Mignola's mythos with Stenbeck's moody, atmospheric art.
