From 1957 to 1961, Editorial Frontera published 48 issues of Frontera, a landmark Argentine comic series that blended historical adventure with a distinctly South American sensibility. Most frequently written by the visionary Héctor Germán Oesterheld, the series featured the evocative art of Hugo Pratt and Carlos Roume, among others, bringing a gritty, humanistic edge to tales of exploration and conflict.
