About the series
In the early 1990s, the German publisher Splitter brought together Argentine writer Carlos Trillo and artist Eduardo Risso for Fulù, a five-issue miniseries that follows the surreal adventures of its enigmatic title character. Blending dark humor with a dreamlike, often unsettling visual style, Risso’s meticulous linework brings Trillo’s offbeat narrative to life. Though brief, the series stands as a striking collaboration between two masters of Latin American comics, showcasing the distinctive storytelling that would later define Risso’s acclaimed career.
