Futt et Fil

In the mid-1980s, French publisher Arédit-Artima collected six issues of Francisco Ibáñez’s madcap Spanish series Futt et Fil, bringing the chaotic adventures of two bumbling, accident-prone friends to a new audience. Ibáñez, the legendary creator behind Mort & Phil, wrote and drew every page, filling the series with his signature slapstick humor, frantic chase sequences, and expressive, rubbery artwork. Though brief, this run stands as a charming, lesser-known entry in Ibáñez’s vast body of work, showcasing his gift for pure, physical comedy.
