Gamut

Gamut, a five-issue series from Tabloid Press (1975–1976), was a bold, short-lived experiment in anthology storytelling that blended science fiction, fantasy, and horror. Known for its oversized tabloid format and striking painted covers, the series showcased a rotating roster of emerging and established talents, most notably the atmospheric work of artist and co-creator Mike Ploog. Though its run was brief, Gamut stands as a distinctive artifact of mid-1970s independent comics, pushing boundaries in both presentation and genre-mixing.
