About the series
From 2014 onward, Gangsta. is a gritty action series from Viz Media that follows Nic and Worick, two "Handymen" who take on jobs from the mafia, cops, and underworld in the crime-ridden city of Ergastulum. The series is defined by its stylish violence, deep world-building, and the complex relationship between its leads, one of whom is a superhuman "Twilight." Though only eight issues have been published, Gangsta. has earned a devoted following for its mature, noir-infused storytelling and its creator's distinctive art.
