In 2007, Kurokawa brought the acclaimed manga Genshiken to a French-speaking audience, collecting the story of a college club for otaku into nine issues. Written and illustrated by Shimoku Kio, the series is a warm, slice-of-life comedy that explores the passions, social dynamics, and gentle absurdities of dedicated fandom.
