Ghost in the Shell

Dark Horse presented this eight-issue comic series, running from 1995 onward, based on Masamune Shirow's iconic cyberpunk world. Writers Greg Vest, M. Hord, and Peet Janes, alongside Shirow and artist Susie Lee, brought the story of cyborg agent Motoko Kusanagi to Western readers. It stands as an early, influential translation of the franchise's vision of technology and identity into American comics.
