About the series
Sergio Bonelli's Editoriale Insubria imprint launched this short-lived, four-issue series in 1971, blending the stylish, psychological terror of Italian giallo cinema with classic horror comics. Each standalone story, written and illustrated by the prolific team of Tiziano Sclavi and Ernesto Grassani, plunged readers into a world of shadowy killers, twisted mysteries, and lurid suspense. Though brief, Giallohorror stands as a fascinating early experiment in fusing two popular Italian genres, prefiguring the darker, more adult tone that would define Bonelli's later horror output.
