Gigant

From 1963 to 1969, Centerförlaget’s Gigant brought together some of DC’s finest talents—including writers Bill Finger and Otto Binder, and artists Dick Sprang, Curt Swan, and Mike Sekowsky—for 23 oversized issues. The series anchored its adventures around Stålmannen and his familiar cast of Lois Lane, Perry White, Clark Kent, Luthor, and Jimmy Olsen, delivering classic superhero storytelling to a Swedish audience. Its importance lies in being a key import vehicle for American Silver Age Superman comics, shaping how generations of Scandinavian readers first encountered the Man of Steel.
