Girltalk

In the mid-1990s, Fantagraphics published Girltalk, a four-issue anthology series helmed by the collaborative trio of Ann Decker, Luella Jane Wright, and Peggy Doody, who each contributed as both writers and artists. A snapshot of indie-comics energy at the time, the series offered a mix of short stories and vignettes centered on the everyday lives, friendships, and inner worlds of young women—a raw, personal, and often humorous counterpoint to mainstream superhero fare.
