Goliat

From 1991 onward, the Slovak publisher Semic-Slovart produced Goliat, a five-issue comic series that carved out a distinctive space in the post-Communist Central European comics landscape. Though brief in its initial run, the series is remembered for introducing local readers to a blend of adventure and genre storytelling, marking an early step in the region’s independent comic publishing after the Velvet Revolution.
