About the series
In this two-issue DC series from 2018–2019, writers Collin Kelly and Jackson Lanzing reimagine the DCU’s icons as renegade mechanics and warriors in a post-apocalyptic, Mad Max-style wasteland. With artist Brian Ching delivering gritty, kinetic visuals, the story follows a band of heroes and villains fighting for survival and freedom against a tyrannical regime. It’s a compact, high-octane Elseworlds tale that distills familiar characters into a raw, road-warrior aesthetic.
