Gráinne Mhaol

Inspired by the legendary 16th-century Irish pirate queen, Gráinne Mhaol is a Gaelic-language comic series launched in 2013 by Cló Mhaigh Eo. Writers Gisela Pizzatto and Iarla Mac Aodha Bhuí, alongside artists Bruno Büll and Laís Bicudo, bring a vivid, modern visual sensibility to this historical figure’s story.
