Graphic Horror

From 2008 to 2014, ABDO Publishing’s Graphic Horror series adapted classic tales of terror into a comic format, bringing literary nightmares to a new generation of readers. Spanning 18 issues, the series drew heavily on the works of Bram Stoker, with frequent scripting by Danielle Conner and consistent, atmospheric art from Rod Espinosa. By transforming foundational horror stories into accessible graphic novels, the series served as a vivid, respectful entry point for young readers into the canon of gothic and supernatural fiction.
