About the series
In the wake of DC’s New 52 relaunch, Green Lantern: New Guardians (2012–2014) followed Kyle Rayner as he assembled a unique team of Lanterns representing each color of the emotional spectrum. Written primarily by Tony Bedard with art by Andres Guinaldo, Harvey Tolibao, and Marcio Takara, this series explored the fragile alliances and cosmic threats that arise when avatars of different emotions must work together. Though its run was brief at just three issues, it carved out a distinct corner of the Green Lantern mythos by focusing on the dynamics of a multi-colored corps.
