Gunnm

In the early 2000s, Glénat published a compact six-issue French edition of Gunnm, the landmark cyberpunk saga by Yukito Kishiro. This series collects the original Japanese manga's early chapters, introducing readers to the amnesiac cyborg Alita in a post-apocalyptic world of bounty hunters and brutal motorball competitions. While shorter than the complete epic, this release helped cement Gunnm's reputation in Europe as a foundational work of dystopian science fiction, known for its visceral action and philosophical depth.
