Hard Looks

From 1992 to 1993, Dark Horse Comics published Hard Looks, a ten-issue anthology series that brought the gritty, uncompromising vision of crime writer Andrew Vachss to the comics page. With stories by Vachss, Neal Barrett Jr., and Jerry Prosser, and illustrated by a rotating roster of artists including George Pratt, Harry O. Morris, and John Bergin, the series translated hard-boiled noir into stark, visceral imagery.
