Matt Fraction and David Aja’s celebrated run on Hawkeye (2013–2015) redefined Clint Barton as a street-level hero more concerned with his Brooklyn apartment building and his deaf dog, Lucky, than with Avengers-level threats. This critically acclaimed series, known for its inventive layouts and grounded, character-driven storytelling, was later continued by Jeff Lemire and Ramón Pérez in 2015–2016, exploring Clint’s past and his relationship with his protégé, Kate Bishop. A landmark Marvel title that proved a solo archer could carry a deeply personal, noir-tinged comic.
