Helan og Halvan & co

Between 1973 and 1976, the Norwegian publisher Illustrerte Klassikere / Williams Forlag released four issues of Helan og Halvan & co, a comic series starring the beloved comedy duo. Anchored by the frequent artwork of Lobo, the series brought the slapstick antics of the pair to a new medium, capturing their classic humor in sequential panels. Though brief, it stands as a charming, period-specific example of European licensed comics adapting popular film characters for a local audience.
