About the series
In 2022, Image Comics launched Hellcop, a supernatural crime series that follows a detective who polices the afterlife. Written and drawn by Brian Haberlin, the book blends hard-boiled noir with dark fantasy, exploring a bureaucracy of the damned. Though only two issues in, its striking visuals and unique premise have already marked it as a fresh take on the genre.
